    Question

    Hi!

I pay for my Kodak 40 ASA about 27 american dollars, developing is included (i need only an extra dollar for shipping to Austira where lab is).

I heard that you have given different numbers in discussions below. Do you think I could order thiose films from other places? What about developing. Here i get a speciall bag with film which allows me to get "free" edeveloping.

    Thanks for your information

    Thumbs up

    Hi Marjan,

$27 is too expensive. I buy my films for 10.25 Euro ($9.50) per roll, including developing by Kodak. Shipping is also included within this price. Click on this link: http://www.filmmaterial.com/Sonderangebote.html to order.

Marjan, the best thing to do is calling the local kodak national suplier. They probably have a collecting service that sends your film to Switzerland, where the lab is.

But for me what it works best is to send it directly to the lab. If you send them a 10 swiss francs bill they?ll process all your catridges in one day.

Please, NEVER SEND YOUR FILM BY REGULAR MAIL if you don?t want to take the risk of losing it.

    The lab address is:

    Kodak Photo Service
    Av. de Longemalle 1
    CH-1020 Renens
    Switzerlan

    Phone: 021/6310111

Rigo, that same day processing with the extra fee, is it true? Have you tried it? I asked it from Kodapost Finland and they laughed at me and said don't belive all you read from the internet.

It?s completely true. They even give you a receipt for the 10 swiss francs (about 7 euros). You just have to send them a letter saying what the money is for. It doesn?t matter how many catridges you send them.

People there is very friendly, you can ask them to send the film back via courier... one of the times they didn?t charge me for that, but I don?t think it will happen again, jeje..
